It's No Surprise That Rihanna & Chris Brown Have Got Back Together
Rihanna and Chris Brown have certainly raised a few eyebrows since they released their duets earlier this week, sparking rumours that they could be on the verge of getting back together. But experts have said that it's not a total surprise.
Chris Brown appears on Rihanna's remix of 'Birthday Cake' and it was a move that you would never have seen coming, especially as it was only three years ago that he was convicted of beating her black and blue.
But according to experts, people shouldn't be surprised that Rihanna is getting close to Chris Brown again because it's not uncommon.
Talking to New York Daily News, Ellyn Loy from House of Ruth, a huge US domestic violence help service said: "I don't think it's unusual that a couple would get back together after a period of time. Statistics show generally that half of women leave and half go back a number of times before they make a final decision about the relationship."
Meanwhile, Rita Smith from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence is concerned with Chris Brown's tweets and questioned whether he was truly remorseful for his violent actions in 2009.
"The response was fairly belligerent and didn't really indicate that he had changed much in the several years since the assault," Smith said.
Were you surprised to see these two back together?
